I don’t know what it is about me and peppermint during the holidays, but I just have to have it in just about everything: food, drink, candles; you name it! Peppermint infused flavors/scents during the holiday season for me is like the pumpkin spice craze during the Fall season —you can find it in just about anything which works in my favor.
This season instead of purchasing ready made peppermint treats, I wanted to try making them myself in the comfort of my own home. I already knew that I wanted to make a peppermint infused cake because I’ve had it in the past and been in love ever since. When it came time to find some great peppermint recipes, I went to my go to —Pinterest (I am such a Pinterest junkie, like it doesn’t make sense).
In my search I came across the perfect cake and cookie recipe, and coincidentally my sister without even knowing sent me a peppermint milkshake recipe from Pinterest as well that she wanted us to try. Moreover, I was able to try them all and they were a hit so much so that I wanted to share the recipes with you. Although the holidays are almost over, these are still fun and doable recipes that can be done any day. Below I’ve attached each recipe and a link to take you directly to the Pinterest page.
